The library was founded in 1958, boasting of acollection of more than 1.5 million copies of paper books, more than 3 million e-books, as well as more than 40 kinds of domestic and foreign electronic information resources. At present, Yifu Library at Xianghu Campus is installed with access control system and includes a General service desk,Social science reading room,Science and technology reading room,Art sreading room,Foreign reference reading room,Ceramics and art reading room and 3self-study rooms,witha total of more than 2000seats, 96 electronic seats. Yifu Library has set up a self-service area, providing self-service lending, returningand printing, copying, scanning, Internetaccess.

During the outbreakof covid-19 pandemic, the library is open daily from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and from 14:00 to 17:30 p.m.OnWednesday, the library will beclosed for half a dayand open again in the afternoon. Readers and staff shall keep a1-meter social distance and only those with normal temperature can enter the library.
