On the evening of June 5th, the Embassy of the Kingdom of Norway in China hosted a farewell reception for departing ambassadors. Lyu Pinchang, Deputy Secretary and Acting President of JCU, was invited to attend. He bid farewell to Ambassador Signe Brudeset of the Kingdom of Norway, Ambassador Thomas Østrup Møller of the Kingdom of Denmark, and Ambassador Leena-Kaisa Mikkola of the Republic of Finland. The event was attended by over 70 people, including ambassadors from multiple countries and colleagues and friends of the ambassadors during their tenure in China.

The reception featured serene Chinese traditional music and lively jazz, setting a vibrant atmosphere. They expressed deep gratitude for their four years of service in China, emphasizing their profound and positive experiences with the Chinese government and people, leaving behind cherished memories.

Professor Lyu extended an invitation to the ambassadors at the reception to visit JCU. He introduced the unique charm of Chinese ceramic culture, expressing hopes to strengthen further cooperation and exchanges in ceramic culture. He aimed to foster closer and harmonious friendships across broader domains, promoting the prosperous development of global ceramic culture. Professor Lyu also presented the departing ambassadors with the "Jingdezhen International Ceramic Art Biennale" exhibition catalog as a token of appreciation.
